A book for Dall

I decided that I am going to write a book for the boy.  I have it all mapped out already.  It's about 13 pages long and Lesli will make some pictures for the book.  I might try and sketch it out myself before she gets home from Arizona. I hope Dall really likes it.  It means a lot to me, to do this for him.  It will be something that we can have and keep forever. :)  Maybe I'll just have to write one for every child I have.  Here's for Leo Fights The Monsters!

Walk in the park... well Fitch Park. haha

Last night, we went on a walk.  I wanted to be lazy and not go, but Dallyn said he was going with me and Daddy.  So there it was, I changed and we went out.  It was pretty fun. We threw the ball for Kota and played hide n seek with her.  We ran and laughed.  Dall picked me "flowers."

Then we went home and had dinner and our home made ice cream. :)

Merry Christmas To All!!

Well we had our first Christmas.  It was successful: the food was good, company was good. :)  Dall got a lot of great books and movies... and some presents that we just looked at confused- like. LOL  Oh well.
We had our giant ham, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, rolls (that looked like butts for real), red velvet poke cake with cream cheese pudding, a chocolate pie and banana pudding. :)  Dall is a bread-a-holic. It was pretty awesome.  We had "Uncle" Seth and "Auntie" Lesli over ( and her padres!!) We had a great time.  I love my family :)

Christmas Cheer in a Box

This year I decided to spread some cheer in a new way: TREATS.  My sweet husband humored me as I made two kinds of fudge (one didn't turn out), carmels (which also didn't turn out), two batches of lollipops, 5 dozen dark chocolate chip cookies and 5 1/2 dozen green mint chocolate chip cookies.  If anyone knows me, they know I LOVE a deal.  I found Martha Stewart treat boxes on sale at steals.com for about half off.  So in went the treats, neatly wrapped and ready to share.  My coworkers have been nicely surprised with these boxes so far. :)
Lollipop recipe

Caramel Recipe - I think they were too soft due to all the butter... or maybe I should have left them in longer than 6 minutes.

Martha Stewart Treat Boxes- These are the kind that I used, but I got them for about $8 on the steals network (Steals Here)

A Fresh Start

This is, yet another, attempt at blogging.  I have had two other blogs before. haha I got to around day 122 on my Thankful Blog before I let it slip and never caught back up. :/ Hopefully this will be different. We shall see.
